If someone is feeling very ill or is seriously injured, call telephone number 1414. Then Rega will immediately find out if a rescue helicopter is needed. In remote regions, a helicopter can get to the person much more quickly than an ambulance vehicle. This way, the person receives medical help as quickly as possible.

Call this number if a person is injured or seriously ill.

You should call this number if there is a fire.
